What changes the price?

Four things: density of the material, terrain, access, and distance from base. We figure all four when we walk the property and quote you flat.

Why per acre instead of hourly?

Hourly invites slow work. Per-acre flat pricing puts the productivity risk on us, not you. You know your number before we start the machine.

Is there a minimum job size?

Effectively a half-acre. Smaller than that and the time it takes us to load up and drive out costs more than the work itself. We can sometimes batch small jobs.

How does stump grinding pricing work?

By the inch of diameter at ground level. $4/inch is our starting rate. A 20-inch stump runs about $80; a 40-inch stump runs about $160. Batch jobs get a break.
