Four things: density of the material, terrain, access, and distance from base. We figure all four when we walk the property and quote you flat.

Why per acre instead of hourly?

Hourly invites slow work. Per-acre flat pricing puts the productivity risk on us, not you. You know your number before we start the machine. We also offer hourly rates ($300/hr, 3-hour minimum) and day rates ($2,300/8hr day) for piecemeal projects.

Is there a minimum job size?

We offer an hourly structure at $300/hr with a 3-hour minimum, plus mobilization charges at any distance from base. This lets us take on projects of any size.

How does stump grinding pricing work?

$7.50 per inch of diameter at ground level, with a $175 minimum. Sprawling surface roots run $12/ft of diameter. Mobilization charges apply over 20 miles from base. Batch jobs get a break.

Do you charge for the estimate?

Can you mulch in the winter?

Yes! In fact, this can be a perfect time to do this work as the ground is more likely to be frozen, which allows us to travel your property better and minimize soil and turf disturbance.
