Based in Patoka, Illinois. Serving the Metro East, the Carlyle Lake corridor, and the inland counties — Marion, Clinton, Bond, Madison, St. Clair, Jefferson, and beyond.
Centralia, IL
Centralia is home turf. We're based twenty minutes north in Patoka and Centralia's the closest city of real size — which means most of our same-day and next-day calls come from here. Forestry mulching, stump grinding, brush clearing, fence lines, and pasture reclamation across the whole Marion County footprint.
Salem, IL
Salem is twenty-five minutes from our Patoka base — close enough that we can swing through midweek for a half-day job. We work the north side of Marion County hard: working farms along Route 37, the recreational acreage around Stephen A. Forbes State Park, and the small rural residential parcels tucked between the two.
Mt. Vernon, IL
Mt. Vernon is the Jefferson County seat and one of our busier service zones south of base. I-57 and I-64 cross here, which means access is easy for us and the area has a wide mix of work — hunting tracts and recreational acreage east of town, working farm ground to the west and south, and city-edge residential properties where wooded backyards have closed in.
Vandalia, IL
Vandalia is as close as it gets to home for us — twenty-five minutes up Route 51 and we're on site. Fayette County work is a big piece of our weekly schedule: Vandalia Lake recreational parcels, Kaskaskia River bottom ground, working farms across the prairie north and east of town, and hunting tracts that make up a lot of the county's rural acreage.
Carlyle, IL
Carlyle sits at the edge of the largest man-made lake in Illinois, and the lake drives most of what we do here. Shoreline parcels, cabin-property brush work, hunting tracts on the lake's east and north shores, and the working farms that surround the whole Clinton County area.
Effingham, IL
Effingham sits at the I-57/I-70 crossroads and anchors a broader rural economy than most Southern Illinois towns its size. Our work here covers the whole county: working ag ground on the prairie north and south, hunting tracts in the timbered sections east toward Jasper County, fence line work along the section-line grid, and residential and commercial lot clearing inside Effingham proper.
Greenville, IL
Greenville is the Bond County seat and sits on the I-70 corridor between Vandalia and the Metro East. Bond County is rural ag country with pockets of recreational acreage, smaller-scale cattle operations, and the Governor Bond Lake recreation area. Our work here is mostly fence lines, pasture reclamation, and lake-edge parcel work — with some hunting tract work mixed in on the county's east and south edges.
Highland, IL
Highland is a Swiss-heritage town on the east edge of Madison County — rural in feel but close enough to the Metro East to pull suburban buyers looking for acreage. Our work here is a mix: hobby-farm brush clearing, mature-tree stump grinding in established neighborhoods, pasture reclamation on dairy and beef ground, and the increasingly common 'five-acre parcel that got away from the owner' call.
Fairview Heights, IL
Fairview Heights is built around retail — St. Clair Square and the Route 159 corridor draw the whole Metro East — and that puts a premium on outparcels and vacant investment lots that have to show well for leasing or sale. Step off the commercial strip and the picture changes: wooded residential back lots, drainage corridors, and pockets of rural ground that have quietly filled in with brush. Both come back to us the same way — a brushed-over parcel turned into ground a broker or a homeowner can actually stand on and see.
O'Fallon, IL
O'Fallon is a Scott AFB town, and that shapes who buys land here: military families on PCS orders, often new to Illinois and to acreage, closing on a place sight-unseen or on a short house-hunting trip. When a "wooded lot" turns out to mean a wall of honeysuckle and brush, the process is simple — we walk it, send a flat quote, clear it, and send photos. We also handle the fence lines and pasture on O'Fallon's rural edges toward Lebanon and Mascoutah.
Belleville, IL
Belleville is the largest city in the Metro East and the St. Clair County seat, and few towns we cover swing as hard between two kinds of ground. Inside the West End and the streets off West Main, you've got a dense historic grid full of mature trees and old lots; drive a few minutes south toward Freeburg, Millstadt, and New Athens and it turns to open pasture and farm ground. We bring forestry mulching, land clearing, brush clearing, and stump grinding to both ends of that range.
Collinsville, IL
Collinsville sits at the I-55/70 and I-255 crossroads on the edge of the American Bottom, where new subdivisions, builder parcels, and bottomland farm ground meet the bluffs below Cahokia Mounds. We bring forestry mulching, land clearing, and brush clearing to the wooded back lots, development parcels, and overgrown acreage across the area.
Edwardsville, IL
Edwardsville is the Madison County seat and one of the most established, high-value addresses in the Metro East — built around SIUE, the Leclaire Historic District, and street after street of homes set into mature woods and ravine ground. The land work that fits Edwardsville is almost always selective: opening up a wooded lot or a property line without sacrificing the canopy oaks and hickories that gave the parcel its value in the first place.
Marion, IL
Marion, Crab Orchard, Herrin — the Williamson County corridor is in our regular service rotation. STUMPT brings forestry mulching south to landowners who want one-pass clearing without the bush-hog mess.
Carbondale, IL
Carbondale and Jackson County — wooded acreage, hunting tracts, and SIU-corridor properties. We bring our forestry mulcher south on routes where a single trip is worth it.
Alton, IL
Alton is bluff country. The limestone river-bluffs that climb from the Mississippi up through Godfrey toward Grafton are steep, wooded, and rocky — the kind of ground most clearing crews quote once and never call back on. Where the slope lets us, we run the machine; where it won't, we hand-fell down into the mulcher's reach. That judgment about steep ground is what we're set up for: hillside and bluff brush, buried views, and the wooded grades that are hard to stand a machine on.
Granite City, IL
Granite City sits in the American Bottom — the flat Mississippi River floodplain of southwest Madison County, built around steel and heavy industry. The ground here is low, rich, and quick to grow over: vacant industrial parcels, bottomland fields, and wooded back lots all reclaim fast once they're left alone. We come in when the ground is dry enough to carry the machine and open those grown-over parcels back up.
Glen Carbon, IL
In Glen Carbon, the woods rarely stop at the property line. The MCT Heritage Trail threads through town, Judy's Branch winds its ravine corridor behind whole rows of homes, and Miner Park backs onto the same wooded slopes — so a lot of the ground here is edge ground, where a lawn gives way to honeysuckle, saplings, and a drop toward a creek. We clear that understory right up to the easement line and leave the ravine canopy standing.
Maryville, IL
Maryville sits in the middle of the Collinsville-Edwardsville-Glen Carbon growth cluster, where new subdivisions keep pushing into wooded back lots and old farm ground along Route 159. When a builder or owner needs a parcel cleared on a schedule, a forestry mulcher takes an overgrown lot down to buildable ground in a tight window, so the crews waiting on it can get moving.
Troy, IL
Troy sits at the I-55/I-70 interchange in eastern Madison County, where row-crop ground meets a fast-moving development corridor. That historic core asks for careful, low-impact tree and stump work, while the farm ground and wooded acreage wrapping the town toward Summerfield and Trenton is open country built for forestry mulching, pasture reclamation, and brush clearing.
Waterloo, IL
